Tech-Essentials Return Policy

Tech-Essentials strives to ensure you are satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains when and how you may request a return, replacement, or refund.
1. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order at no cost before it ships by contacting us immediately at support@tech-essentials.store.

Once your order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. You may still qualify for a return or warranty claim if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect (see below).
2. Items Damaged on Arrival

If your product arrives damaged, contact us immediately and within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Provide photos of the product and packaging so we can verify the damage.

If approved, we will send you a prepaid return label and issue a full refund or replacement at no additional cost.
3. Faulty Manufacturing or Malfunction (Warranty)

All products include a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.

If your item fails during normal use within 90 days, you may request a repair, replacement, or refund.

We will cover return shipping costs for valid warranty claims.
Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, if your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. This policy operates alongside those statutory rights. For customers outside New Zealand, your local consumer protection laws may also apply.
4. Wrong Product Received

If you receive an incorrect item, notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery with photos of what you received.

We will send you a prepaid return label and ship the correct product at no cost.

If the correct product is unavailable, you will receive a full refund.
5. No Returns for Change of Mind

We do not accept returns if you simply change your mind, ordered the wrong product, or no longer need the item.

Please review all product descriptions carefully before ordering.
6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, it will be repaired or replaced under the warranty and return conditions above.

If you would like a different product for any other reason, you will need to place a new order.
7. EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (EU Customers Only)

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason under EU law.

The item must be in its original condition, unused, with all tags and packaging.

How to Start a Return or Claim

Email support@tech-essentials.store with your order number and reason for return.

Provide photos or videos showing any defect, damage, or wrong item.

We will review your request within 1–2 business days and provide return instructions and a prepaid shipping label if applicable.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue your refund or send your replacement. Refunds are typically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Note: Items sent back to us without approval will not be accepted. We cannot accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, perishable goods, customized products, sale items, or gift cards.
